God of Elijah is a church with its foundation on Jesus Christ the only son of God. We believe that God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and on the third (3rd) day he rose up and ascended into heaven, sending us the Holy Spirit to be our guide here on earth till he returns to take the true believers to heaven

God of Elijah is commissioned to be a ministry of faith integrity and raising up disciples (John 13:35 “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another”). This special calling was given by God’s disciple Michael Israel to reveal this church’s role in guiding Christians to his Kingdom. God shaped our founding pastor through the ministries he participated in being the Mountain of fire and Miracle Ministry.

The Church name was changed by God through the scripture (11 Kings 2:14: And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over”).

Our current location at  6910 Glenn Dale Rd, Glenn Dale, MD 20769 holds an average number of 150 members and counting per service. The church calling is welcoming ALL to God and through the love of Jesus, develop Christians
